In coming across this new technology, I'm left scratching my head wondering:
What child wouldn't rather have REAL paper, crayons, markers, and other manipulatives with which to learn?
"Because we can...", isn't a very good reason for doing anything...
There has been little REAL evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of improving student learning with Smart Boards. Will this next generation of technology replace the "aging" Smart Boards hanging on the walls of classrooms?
ReplyDeleteEffective teachers will improve student learning with chalk, or an overhead projector, and do not need gadgets to engage students.
